Apple Music Replay 2023 is out: here's how to see your top songs

Apple Music Replay is officially out, offering a slew of music charts and data

The feature is a little different from Spotify Wrapped, which it is inevitably compared to. Firstly, it is available all the time to Apple Music customers as a weekly playlist inside the app, but the year-end version offers a deeper dive into listening habits.

What’s more, this instalment can be accessed only on a dedicated website. Here, you can view and share your stats and charts, including top songs, albums, artists, and genres. Devoted fans can also find out if they’re in the top 100 listeners of their favourite musician or genre.

Here’s how you can get your Apple Music Replay year-end info and troubleshoot any issues with the feature.

How to get Apple Music Replay 2023

To grab your stats for the entire year, head to the Apple Music Replay website here.

Sign in with the Apple ID linked to your Apple Music subscription and select Get Started.

Now you should be able to see your year-end stats, including top songs, artists, listening time, and play counts.

Here, you can also play a highlight reel featuring the tracks you had on repeat, and use the Share button to post your insights on social media or message them to friends.

If you can’t see Apple Music Replay

The main reason you may not see any stats on the Apple Music Replay site is that you simply haven’t listened to enough music. Apple will typically let you know when your stats are ready by sending you a notification.

However, if you’re a regular Apple Music user and you still can’t see Replay, make sure to turn on Use Listening History via your settings.

This essentially allows Apple to use your listening habits to serve up recommendations. The feature is turned on by default, but there’s always a chance you may have turned it off and forgotten about it.

To activate it on an iPhone, go to Settings > Music and turn on Use Listening History.

How to find your Apple Music Replay playlist

Apple Music has a Replay playlist that updates weekly with a selection of your most played tracks.

You can find it in the Apple Music app by scrolling down to Replay: Your Top Songs by Year. From here, you can also open playlists for years past, add your playlist to your library, and share it on social media.
