Appeals to locate Newport man missing for more than three months

Police have appealed for info to locate a man who has been missing from his home in Newport for more than three months. Soran Kadir, 34, from Pillgwenly was last seen on Saturday, January 14 and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Gwent Police continues to search for Mr Kadir and has appealed to the public for help. Sharing a photograph of Mr Kadir, they say he is of medium build and has short dark hair and brown eyes. He is also known to have links to Cardiff.

A Gwent Police statement read: “We’re appealing for information to find Soran Kadir who has been reported as missing. Soran, 34, was last seen in Pill, Newport on Saturday, January 14 and officers are concerned for his welfare.

"He is of medium build with short dark hair and brown eyes. Soran has known links to Cardiff.

"Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call us on 101 or send us a direct message on social media, quoting 2300103556. Soran is also urged to get in touch with us to confirm that he is safe and well.
