Appeal to find man after Metrolink worker attacked after 'asking ticketless passenger to leave'

Police are appealing for information after a Metrolink worker was attacked after 'asking a ticketless passenger to leave'. The incident was reported at the tram station in Prestwich.

In the attack, police said the Metrolink staff member was hit in the jaw. The incident was recorded back in August, with investigations still ongoing.

Police have now shared an image of a man they wish to speak to as part of their enquiries. Anyone with information is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.
