The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after seven pigeons were found dumped in a cardboard box.
The birds were discovered in a layby on the A82 by a member of the public.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity say five were found in a poor condition and did not survive.
The remaining two are being cared for at the charity's centre in Dumbarton.

“They were found in poor condition and unfortunately five passed away.
