Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a shop in Ballymena.
It has been reported that a man entered a shop in the Broughshane Street area of the town at around 10.20am on Sunday, February 19, and demanded money from a till a number of times.
However, the man fled from the premises empty handed when an alarm was activated.

He was wearing dark clothing and had his hood up and his face partially covered. He was also carrying a black shoulder bag and wearing white trainers with coloured laces.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it to contact them.
Detective Sergeant Lyttle said: “Shortly before 10.20am, police received a report that a man had entered a commercial premises in the Broughshane Street area.
“He demanded money from a till a number of times – but fled from the premises when an alarm was activated. He left empty-handed and thankfully no one was harmed.
“The suspect was wearing all dark clothing and he had his hood up. His face was partially covered and he was also carrying a black shoulder bag. He was also wearing white trainers with coloured laces.
“Our investigation is now underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, or who saw the suspect matching this description, to call police on 101, quoting reference number 600 of 19/02/23.
