Officers investigating the death of Leroy Venner have issued a fresh appeal for information.
Leroy Venner, from Toxteth, was found with serious injuries in a house on Belmont Drive, at around 3pm on Wednesday, July 27.
Police and paramedics rushed to the property, near Newsham Park, and took the 53-year-old to hospital but Mr Venner died. A Home Office post mortem has taken place and since confirmed the cause of his death as head injuries.

Two men, aged 60 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of murder and questioned by police. They have now been bailed with conditions. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
Detective chief inspector Mike Dalton said: "Our officers are continuing to investigate the tragic death of Leroy Venner and we have been carrying out extensive enquiries to establish what happened on Wednesday afternoon. Although we have made two arrests, these enquiries remain ongoing,
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the Belmont Drive area between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday to please get in touch with us and let us know if they saw anything or anyone suspicious. Similarly if you were driving in the West Derby Road area during that time and have dashcam footage, please review it and contact us if you see anything significant.
