Appeal for a new home for Neena

Animal welfare experts are appealing for a home for Neena, a sweet 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier currently in foster care through Dogs Trust West Calder.

Her carers say Neena is a shy girl who loves lazy days where she can keep cosy and snooze on the sofa.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “She likes being with her favourite people and will happily potter around beside you before snuggling on the couch together. “Neena loves to explore in the garden, preferring to run around and investigate smells in a familiar space than going out on walks.

“She enjoys going on car journeys where she can curl up in her seat and watch the world go by.

“Neena arrived at Dogs Trust as a stray and finds the world to be a scary place.

“She would like to live in a peaceful home where she can feel safe with a garden of her own to stroll around.

“Neena takes time to come out of her shell but is a loving friend for life once she feels comfortable around you. She would like for her new owner to be home with her throughout the day to give her lots of cuddles and attention.”

If you think you could provide a home for Neena or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the West Calder Rehoming Centre on 01506 873459.
