Appeal for 14-year-old Nottingham boy as police 'concerned for safety'

Nottinghamshire Police have said they are concerned for the safety of a 14-year-old boy who has been missing for more than two days. Lewis Murdock was reported missing from the St Ann's area at around 6.30pm on Monday, October 24.

Police said there have been sightings called in of Lewis being in the Arnold and Sneinton areas in the days since. Lewis is described as of slim build and is around 5ft 11ins tall with short black Afro hair.

He was last seen wearing a thin waterproof jacket, a dark coloured hooded top and grey fitted jogging bottoms with a black stripe down the side. He was carrying a plastic shopping bag. He talks with a stutter.

In an appeal on Facebook, Nottinghamshire Police posted: "Have you seen 14-year-old Lewis? Officers are concerned for his safety after he was reported missing from the St Ann's area at around 6.30pm on Monday 24 October 2022. If you have seen Lewis or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 627_24102022 of 24 October 2022."
