Police want to speak to this man after a woman was 'verbally abused' outside a polling station in Bury on local election night. The incident took place on Horne Street, Fishpool, at around 9.30pm on Thursday, May 5.
Officers are appealing for information and have released a photograph of a man in connection with the investigation. Pc David Green, of GMP's Bury district, said: "We want members of the public to feel safe in our communities at all times - this includes voters outside polling stations.
"I appeal to anyone who knows this man or even the man in the image to contact us so we can establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident" Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 8204 quoting incident number 513 of May 5, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
