Police are appealing for the public's help after a knifeman burst into a home and threatened a woman before making off with some cash.
Police were called to Fairclough Park Drive in Leigh at around 8am today (January 15) following reports of the armed intruder.
The man had pushed his way into the property, made threats and demanded money, before fleeing the scene.

According to police he arrived in a dark coloured Audi Q7 and was wearing a hi-vis orange jacket and trousers.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Partington, of Wigan CID, said: "Clearly this is a dangerous individual and we are determined to catch him.
"We are sure someone will have seen something as he arrived in a dark-coloured Audi Q7 and was dressed in a hi-vis orange jacket and trousers."
