Appeal after body of woman, 50, found in house

The body of a 50-year-old woman was found in a house in Kirkby.

Merseyside Police have launched an appeal to find relatives of Michelle Taylor, who lived on Melverley Road. Ms Taylor died at home on Sunday, April 3.

Merseyside Police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. The appeal to trace Ms Taylor’s next of kin is on behalf of Sefton Coroner’s Office.

Anyone with information should email Katrina.Rigby@sefton.gov.uk or call 0151 934 2972.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are appealing on behalf of Sefton Coroner's Office for help in tracing the next of kin of a woman who sadly passed away at her home on Sunday 3 April.

"Michelle Taylor, aged 50, resided on Melverley Road. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

"Anyone with information should email Katrina.Rigby@sefton.gov.uk or call 0151 934 2972."
