Ulster Ladies Club Senior Football Championship semi-final
Moneyglass (Antrim) 1-13 St Macartan’s (Tyrone) 2-6
A stunning scoring display from Orlaith Prenter helped Moneyglass edge St Macartan’s in a feisty Ulster Club semi-final.
A total of seven players were sin-binned throughout the game, but Prenter’s heroics stole the show as she landed all of her side’s scores.
Prenter, who won an All-Ireland JFC title with the Saffrons during the summer, registered all 1-13 of her side’s final tally with 1-6 coming from open play.

The Antrim champions scored an impressive win over Bredagh in the quarter-final last week at Cherryvale and they backed it up with a gutsy win over Ryan McMenamin’s side.
The Tyrone champions bagged two first half majors via Cathy Maguire and Slaine McCarroll to take command in the early stages.
However, Prenter found the back of the net after being played through on goal by her county captain Cathy Carey as St Macartan’s led 2-4 to 1-6 at the break.
The home side finished the game strongest and were helped by some indispline from the Tyrone side who had Maguire, Niamh McGirr, Shannon McQuad, Tara Mebh McCarroll and Maira McCann all sin-binned in the second half.
Moneyglass also had Rebecca Bradley and Sarah O’Neill sin-binned, but St Ergnat’s held out to become the first Antrim team to reach the Ulster Club Ladies SFC final.
They’ll take on defending champions Donaghmoyne in the provincial final in a fortnight’s time.
