Manchester United's pursuit of Ajax winger Antony has reportedly taken one step closer to completion after one of the player's representatives arrived in Manchester for talks.
According to The Times, the Dutch club are demanding a transfer fee of £68m should United want the Brazilian to play at Old Trafford next season. Erik ten Hag is eager to reunite with his former player and will know just how big an attacking threat the man who provided 22 goal contributions in 33 appearances for the Eredivisie side during the 2021/22 campaign can be.
The Dutch manager recently said that it's "vital" to sign more players in order to cope with a congested fixture list in the Premier League.

Elsewhere, former United player Memphis Depay could be set for a sensational return to the club as reports emerge of a possible move from Barcelona to Manchester.
Tutto Juve claim (via HITC ) that the 28-year-old is admired by Ten Hag and that the Dutch manager could be keen to bring his compatriot to the club this summer. Depay is believed to have already rejected a move to Premier League rivals Tottenham.
The La Liga side's dire financial situation means they may be forced to sell some players this summer, despite Joan Laporta's claims that this is not the case. Depay scored 13 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona last season and could prove to be a real attacking threat under Ten Hag.
