Antony representatives 'staying in England' to seal Manchester United transfer and more rumours

Antony's representatives are reportedly staying in England to try and push through a move to Manchester United.

MEN Sport revealed on Wednesday that the Reds were getting set to make another bid for the talented Brazilian. It is understood that Ajax are currently holding out for €100m for Antony.

The Telegraph now reports that his agents are set on making a move to Old Trafford happen this summer, despite Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder claiming that Antony is not for sale at any price in this transfer window. A problem for Schreuder is that the 22-year-old has already told him that he is not '100 per cent' ready to play for the Amsterdam club.

It would appear that United have turned his head especially after Antony was seen watching the Reds' clash against Liverpool with his agent earlier this week. Elsewhere, the Mail Online claims that Eintracht Frankfurt have set an asking price for their goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

United are currently on the lookout for another goalkeeper who can challenge David de Gea this season but as of yet they have not found a suitable option. However, the Bundesliga outfit have reportedly now set their asking price for the 32-year-old German.

Reports claim that they would be looking for £21m to let Trapp leave this summer. The article adds that Frankfurt have set a strict deadline on the transfer with it needing to happen in the next few days if it is to be completed at all.
