The Raiders are in such a weird spot heading into their Week 5 matchup against the Broncos, and head coach Antonio Pierce didn’t do much to calm the drama.
That remained true during Wednesday’s press conference.
A day after fans noticed an Instagram “like” from Pierce that suggested star wide receiver Davante Adams had played his final down with the Raiders, Pierce was asked about the “like.” He was even given an opportunity to brush the “like” aside as an accidental push of the button. But instead, the Raiders head coach sidestepped the question in the most Bill Belichick kind of way.

He said:
“Yeah, I’m just focused on Denver.”
Well, clearly he wasn’t just focused on Denver if he was liking a post about shipping away his best offensive player. But Pierce knew that question was coming and decided to avoid the subject entirely.
In all likelihood, Adams will be on his way out and has quite a few trade options.
