Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov's Tottenham partnership is already being recreated by Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. Despite the disappointing defeat to Brighton and draw at Brentford in Spurs' last two games, the duo have been impressing since the arrival of Antonio Conte.
Both players have been scoring and assisting one another, which has also been helped by contributions from January arrival, Dejan Kulusevski. Kane has scored 22 goals and registered nine assists this season, whilst the South Korean has scored 18 goals and registered eight assists.
Earlier this month, Conte was full of praise for both of the Tottenham stars. "We are talking about a really good player," the Italian said on Son. "Sonny for us is a really important player and at the peak of his form."

"I am happy for him because we are talking about a world class striker. He deserves the best because he is a great worker, a hard worker, this is not normal," Conte admitted about Kane.
Another duo that made an impact for Tottenham and were loved by fans, was Berbatov and Keane. The Irish international started his Spurs career almost 20 years ago and was joined in N17 by Berbatov in 2006.
Their partnership grew and they had such a good connection on the pitch, which the Bulgarian admitted was similar to Kane and Son's, in an exclusive interview with football.london last month. "His [Kane] connection with Son reminds me a lot of me and Robbie Keane when we used to play [with] each other and it's magic to watch and I hope that they continue that way."
On Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Jamie Carragher asked Keane if his and Berbatov's partnership was the best he was involved in. "Yeah, by far. I think with me and Berba, we complimented each other very well," Keane admitted.
The 41-year-old went on to explain why the duo worked so well on the pitch. "I'm not really a No.9, he's not either so I think people found it difficult to play against us because he'd go high and then I'd come short, playing in the little pockets and vice versa.
"He's a nine and a half, I'd say. He likes to come deep Berba, he likes to get on the ball. Both of us were very similar in terms of I like to drop in the little pockets and get on the ball and he was the same. We just had this understanding," the former striker added.
Keane went on to talk about their on-pitch relationship, which certainly echoes the England captain and Son's link on the pitch. "What an unbelievable football player. He [Berbatov] was very quiet when he first came to start, didn't really give much away, but as soon as he got on the pitch, he was incredible," Keane said.
"He was a wonderful footballer and I think with me and him it was, we didn't care who scored, whether he scored or I scored, we always looked out for each other. No one was selfish and I think that was the reason the two of us clicked."
Previously it was the South Korean threading balls through to Kane, who would slot them in the back of the net. However more recent times have shown the other way round.
The England captain has been dropping into deeper positions and creating more for his teammate. This was something Berbatov identified as a similarity between his game and Kane's, which he commended when football.london asked the 41-year-old what he had made of the striker.
"I’m so happy for Harry Kane after that transfer rumours, saga, show, TV soap opera and everything. I am happy that he finds his form, scores goals, he reminds once again why he's one of the best in his position in the world," Berbatov admitted.
"Not only scoring goals, just the way he’s playing the game, how he holds the ball, the calmness, the precision of the passing and then the finishing as well. So for me, he's one of the best in the world.
"Similarities you can find in the way he's moving in and around the pitch, dropping deep into the space, into the pocket, receive the ball and then release the people who are quicker than him," the former striker added.
It wasn't long ago that the duo broke the Premier League record for the most combination goals. Keane speaks about him and Berbatov 'clicking' and that is exactly what it is like when Son and Kane are on the pitch.
They both seem to compliment each other so well. Conte has previously spoken about wanting to keep the England captain in the box, rather than in those deeper positions.
However, Keane admits that teams struggled to play against him and the Bulgarian because they could chop and change their positions in games so well. Therefore further development under the Italian and understanding each other's style of play even more, is only going to help the current Tottenham partnership.
The duo both need to work on finding their top form again, after lacklustre performances from the whole Spurs side in the last couple of games. Tottenham have five games remaining to try and secure a top four spot and will be relying on Kane and Son to contribute to that, with their goals and assists.
