Antonio Conte's Tottenham blueprint, Eriksen, Doherty and Daniel Levy's huge transfer window

The positive momentum appears to be with Tottenham Hotspur as they enter the final weeks of the Premier League season.

Antonio Conte has turned around Tottenham's fortunes and the team have swept up the table into fourth place with a real chance of qualifying for next year's Champions League. With seven matches to go, Spurs have taken charge of the race for fourth place, with a three-point cushion to fifth-placed Arsenal and they are six points ahead of Manchester United and West Ham with a vastly superior goal difference to all three of them.

Conte will be without Matt Doherty for the remainder of the season, with football.london revealing that the Republic of Ireland international ruptured his medial collateral ligament in his knee during Saturday's 4-0 win at Aston Villa and will be out of action for up to 12 weeks. That means the 30-year-old will return in the summer, which in itself will be a key time for Tottenham with chairman Daniel Levy and managing director of football Fabio Paratici looking to push the club on in the transfer market and show both Conte and striker Harry Kane that Spurs can match their ambition.

A return for former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has also been mooted with the Dane, who is impressing at Brentford, available on a free transfer this summer.
