The Premier League season has come to an end and it was a rollercoaster of a campaign for Tottenham. However, with the help of Antonio Conte and the January arrivals, Spurs managed to secure a top-four spot.
This means a return to Champions League football for the Lilywhites next season, where they will hope to have an even stronger squad. The summer transfer window official opening is just around the corner and potential targets have already been highlighted, from across the world.
The likes of Fraser Forster and Alessandro Bastoni have been linked, as well as a number of players who are likely to leave N17. Tottenham will need a mixture of players making the move to the capital, some to add depth to the squad and some to be upgrades to players already in Conte's side.

One of these positions is at wing-back. When the Italian first arrived at Tottenham, trying to change the likes of Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon from full-backs to wing-backs was more difficult than some may have hoped.
Both struggled to adapt and this gave Ryan Sessegnon and Matt Doherty a chance to step in and impress, with them both being more experienced in a wing-back role. The duo arguably did that, but have both had their fair share of injury problems over the course of the season.
So has Reguilon and it meant the final stretch of games saw Sessegnon and Royal occupy the wing-backs roles. However, the future of the Spaniard at Tottenham is uncertain.
Real Madrid have their final option to re-sign Reguilon, when the summer transfer window opens, for a fee that is believed to be around £43 million. Therefore a decision will need to be made by all parties, but it may be the case that the defender makes the move back to his home country.
If the 25-year-old does move on, there will be room for another potential left wing-back in Conte's squad...which is where Filip Kostic comes in. The 29-year-old is currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, who finished their Bundesliga season in 11th, winning ten of their 34 games.
The Serbian featured in 31 of those fixtures, scoring four goals and registering nine assists. Kostic also played in 12 Europa League games with his side, netting three goals and bagging six assists, including two 90 minute performances against West Ham and scoring a penalty in his side's Europa League final against Rangers.
Kostic has made most of his appearances as a left midfielder this season but has been described as someone who can "muck in defensively". This came as he was compared to Tottenham's former player Gareth Bale, with the Serbian described as a "left-footed wide player who can score [and] create" and has a "unique [...] ability to marry attacking and defensive duties without an ounce of protestation".
This could make the 29-year-old an ideal candidate for Conte's side, with The Express reporting that he may only cost Spurs £25 million. It was revealed on Tuesday that Spurs had received £150 million from ENIC, indicating that the money will be there to back the Italian during the summer window.
Adi Hutter managed Frankfurt until last year and in 2019, praised Kostic and not just for his footballing skills. "From the first day, Filip has presented himself as a top player with a top mentality," he admitted.
Oliver Glasner, the German side's current boss doesn't believe his midfielder has played his last game with Frankfurt however Tottenham could provide him with a tempting offer. Not only do the north London club now have the money, they also have world-class facilities, an amazing stadium and a top manager.
Kostic was named the Europa League player of the season, by UEFA's Technical Observer panel and his side's victory in the final mean they will be playing in the Champions League in the next campaign. This is something Spurs can also offer the 29-year-old, with their top-four finish, which can only provide the Lilywhites with an added boost.
Tottenham are likely to have competition from a number of clubs, if they do target the midfielder, including from Arsenal. However with what the club can offer Kostic in N17, will hopefully make it a destination high on the Serbian's priority list, if he were to make a move.
