Antonio Conte returns to work at Tottenham after surgery ahead of Leicester Premier League clash

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has flown back to the UK after his gallbladder surgery and will be back at the club's training ground on Thursday, football.london understands.

The Italian missed Spurs' victory against Manchester City after taking an indefinite leave from the sidelines following a diagnosis with cholecystitis.

Conte had surgery last week and spent time in Italy recovering with assistant manager Christian Stellini taking charge of the team. The 53-year-old wrote at the time, "I can't wait to get back on the field with the team," and that now appears close already.
