Former Tottenham star Jamie O'Hara believes Tottenham are a more attractive option for new signings than Arsenal and Manchester United now.
Spurs have already confirmed two signings this summer, with the free transfers for Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster from Inter Milan and Southampton respectively. And a third is just around the corner with Yves Bissouma passing a medical ahead of a £25million move from Brighton & Hove Albion.
And that deal for Bissouma is what has led O'Hara to believe Spurs are the more attractive proposition as things stand. Spurs were battling with Arsenal and United for a top-four spot last year, with Antonio Conte's men coming out on top on the final day of the season. That has given them Champions League football over their two rivals, and despite the Premier League history being on those two clubs' sides, Spurs are the ones making moves in the transfer window.

Conte has been a big factor in that, according to O'Hara. Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, he said: "I think he’s a great signing for Spurs, I really do. I really liked him last season at Brighton – athletic, good on the ball, strong, shows good quality. I think he’s a really good signing. What I love about it is the fact that again it’s another signing that Spurs are going to get done early doors.
"I know there were other teams after him – Arsenal, Man United – but it seems as if players are starting to pick Spurs over anyone else, which is the Antonio Conte factor. With Spurs now and the facilities they’ve got, they really mean business. I’m really surprised how well the transfer window is going for them right now.
"The Bissouma move is extra sweet for Spurs fans. That’s the biggest thing right now, Spurs are getting players over their rivals like Arsenal. They shop in the same window as Arsenal and in the past, last summer, Arsenal had the better transfer window, but this year, we’re only in June – it’s ridiculous that Spurs have signed three players already, it’s unheard of for Tottenham.
"For Spurs to get a player of that quality over Arsenal just shows where they are now and how big getting that Champions League spot was. It’s showing that Spurs are going to attract the better players to their team."
football.london reported at the end of the season that Conte was in the market for six new signings, with Bissouma set to be the third, Spurs fans can get excited about the potential of three more incomings. Lautaro Martinez is the latest name to be linked, with the striker having worked well under Conte at Inter Milan before.
Tottenham agreed a deal with Inter for the frontman last summer, but with Romelu Lukaku leaving the Italian giants for Chelsea, a deal could not be completed. A move would appear unlikely this time around too, but with Spurs already making waves, you never know.
