Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Antonio Conte has left the club by mutual consent.
The Italian took over as Spurs manager 16 months ago and led the club to a top-four finish in his only full season at the helm.
Conte's assistant Cristian Stellini will take charge of the club for the remainder of the season.

A statement from Tottenham said: “We can announce that head coach Antonio Conte has left the club by mutual agreement.

“We achieved Champions League qualification in Antonio’s first season at the club. We thank Antonio for his contribution and wish him well for the future.
“Cristian Stellini will take the team as acting head coach for the remainder of the season, along with Ryan Mason as assistant head coach.”
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said: “We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place. We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club and amazing, loyal supporters.”
Conte's final game in charge of the club was a 3-3 draw with struggling Southampton before the International break. After the game, Conte launched into an astonishing tirade against the club, its players and the board.
The Southampton outburst proved to be the last straw as the club this evening confirmed his departure.
Despite heavy expenditure last Summer Conte has cut a frustrated figure at Spurs for much of the season. The North London club exited the Champions League at the hands of Milan earlier this month and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Sheffield United.
He leaves with club lying in fourth position in the Premier League, two points ahead of Newcastle but having played two games more.
He is the fourth manager to have left Spurs in less than four years.
