Antonio Conte 'could walk' if Leeds United pull off Spurs victory

BT Sport pundit Joleon Lescott has said that he can see Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte walking away from the job if his side get a bad result in their match against Leeds United this afternoon.

His Spurs side have lost three of their last four league matches and face an in-form Whites side who have won back-to-back games for the first time this season under Jesse Marsch.

This is the first ever meeting between Marsch and Conte as managers and whilst the Italian managed to do the double over Leeds last season, it could be a different story today.

Writing for LiveScore, Lescott admits that while he believes Conte can bring a change in their form, he wouldn't be surprised if Conte quit the role if they lose more games in the near future.

"It’s been another rough week for Tottenham and it feels like some fans are starting to turn on Antonio Conte — a few more bad results and you wouldn't be all that surprised to see him walk! I still believe the Italian will turn things around in North London and this home clash with Leeds is very winnable.

"The Whites have had a couple of dramatic late wins but they’d need to raise their levels again to make it three in a row. Prediction: Tottenham 3-1 Leeds."
