Antonio Conte has been handed a fitness boost ahead of Saturday's FA Cup clash against Brighton & Hove Albion with Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero available once again.
Son has been absent for the team's last four matches due to a muscular problem sustained in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg defeat at Chelsea, while Romero has yet to play for Spurs since Everton away in November due to a hamstring injury sustained on international duty.
While it is good news about the aforementioned duo, the Lilywhites will be without Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp through knee and groin injuries respectively.
Speaking to Tottenham's official website about the latest on the injury front ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie, Conte hailed the return of Romero after such a lengthy absence.
"For sure, Cristian could be a new signing for us! With me, he’s only played two games," he said.
"It’s important to have a player with his potential available now. We’ve seen the improvement in [Davinson] Sanchez, [Ben] Davies, Tanganga, it was good, and now to have Cristian available is good news, and like a new player for me.
"Sonny is okay, and now we have three games in a few days, it will be very important to give him the right minutes to play, but Sonny is another player that, you know very well, is very important for us.
"He can move the balance during a game. I’m very happy to have him available again."
On Tanganga and Skipp's injuries, Conte added: "Only these two players are unavailable, the rest are available."
Conte will have new signings Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski available for the game following their January transfers from Juventus, although both are likely to start on the bench.
"The two players are fit and, for this reason, tomorrow, they are available, for sure," he said.
"To start the game, I think is not right, because they need to work with the team for a period. These two players can help us a lot."
