ANTONIO COLAK has been handed a massive boost ahead of tomorrow's Old Firm showdown - he will be handed an international recall by Croatia when they name their squad on Monday.
Rangers' 28-year-old striker has been in sensational form since his £1.8 million move from PAOK this summer and has scored seven goals in nine appearances.
Those goals included a priceless winner in the Netherlands against PSV Eindhoven to send Rangers into the Champions League and he also scored a vital strike against Union Saint-Gilloise at Ibrox.
He's replaced Alfredo Morelos as Rangers' main striker and is a certainty to lead the line in the midday showdown at Parkhead today.
Colak has been capped three times by Croatia against Turkey, Slovakia and Slovenia, but he's not been called up for a squad since July last year and has been out in the international cold for his country's last ten matches.
But his Ibrox form has impressed manager Zlatko Dalic and he has already indicated to his homeland media that Colak will be in his squad for Croatia's Nations League double-header against Denmark in Zagreb and Austria in Vienna when it is announced on Monday.
Kolac is likely to replace Osasuna's Ante Budimir, who has been dropped by the La Liga side and is in line to win his fourth cap, alongside countryman and Ibrox colleague Borna Barisic and Celtic defender Josip Juranovic.
