Former Rangers striker Antonio Colak has revealed how the club changed under Michael Beale.
The centre-forward joined the Ibrox side in the summer of 2022 under the stewardship of Giovanni van Bronckhorst. It was just months after the Dutchman led the club to the Europa League final in Seville.
Colak hit the ground running and eventually went on to net 13 goals in 24 league games before the annual Scottish Premiership split in his first season in Glasgow.

While Michael Beale came in during November of the 2022/23 campaign, only a few months after Colak joined the club, he kept his place in the team.
The following summer, though, things took a turn for the worst for the Croatian, who has recently reflected on Beale's impact: "Initially, I wasn’t worried about my place when Beale came in because I’m always a positive, optimistic person," he said (RecordSport).
“I like to think I’m a player who can adapt to any coach. When a new one comes in, you look forward to working with him. But of course, some players had an advantage because they had worked with him already. I was a bit unlucky with injuries but I didn’t get the game time I wanted.
"When he came in, a lot changed for the locker room and for the whole club I think. Even regarding sporting decisions and other things, everything changed. What Gio had achieved at Rangers in his time there was incredible.
"He won the Scottish Cup, reached the Europa final and brought Champions League football back to Ibrox. So you can see that he’s a fantastic coach. Was it right or wrong to let him go? It’s hard for me to say, that’s always the club’s decision."
Ultimately, Beale's time at the helm didn't go as planned, and he spent less than a year in charge at Ibrox.
He is now assistant to Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro-League, with the duo linking up after they helped Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title in the 2020/21 season.
