Antonio Colak in Rangers 'everything possible' message as he reveals fan factor behind settling in

Antonio Colak has delivered a strong everything is possible message as Rangers get set for a blockbuster showdown with PSV in the Netherlands next week.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his troops are potentially just 90 minutes away from Champions League group stage football as they battle it out once again with the Dutch giants. The duo played out a 2-2 draw at Ibrox last night to leave the tie on a knife edge heading into the return meeting..

Summer signing Colak superbly turned home a first time effort from a low cross from skipper James Tavernier to level the scoring at 1-1, just three minutes after PSV had gained the advantage through Ibrahim Sangaré. It was the Croatia internationals fourth goal in four games and he hailed the impact of the fans as a big factor behind him quickly settling in.

Tom Lawrence grabbed Rangers' second of the night from a long-range free-kick in a moment to forget for Walter Benitez to give the Light Blues the advantage but Armando Obispo headed home from a corner to spare his team-mates blushes.

On his goal and the chances of dining at Europe's top table, Colak said: “It was the perfect ball from Tav. I was there in the box and yeah, a one-touch finish. I’m happy to score and help the team.

“We just want to continue like that, the get the movements and the chances and I think we’ll make a good game in Eindhoven. How could I not [settle quickly] in front of these fans and with this team. It’s really nice to be here and I’m really happy.

“I just want to continue like that and to continue the hard work. It’s so nice to score goals, to celebrate and I just want to continue the hard work.

“In football, everything is possible. We have a good result. It’s 2-2, it’s a good result for next week.

"If we win we’re going through and this is always our target. We want to win every game and so it will be next week. We’ll go with confidence, the coaches will prepare us. We want to go through.”
