The online attacks against Tom Brady by former team-mate Antonio Brown have been labelled as 'disturbing' by ex- NFL quarterback Michael Vick.
Vick crossed paths with Brown in 2015 when both players ended up at the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the wide receiver being described as 'hard working' and 'talented' during that time. Brown's ability has never been up for debate, but his temperament has left him almost untouchable - and he remains a free agent.
Despite Brown's controversies, Brady pushed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to sign him in 2020, and the pair won the Super Bowl together. However, after storming off during a game against the New York Jets he hasn't played since, and has been criticised for turning his back on Brady.
In week 17 of the 2021 season, Brown would play his last NFL game for the Buccaneers after he decided to leave the field in the third quarter and remove his pads, gloves and shirt in the process. Brady said in the resulting press conference: "We all love him, we care about him deeply, we wanna see him be at his best," despite the embarrassment.
There has always been a bromance between Brady and Brown, but unfortunately for the free agent, he has done his absolute best to ruin that relationship. Ever since his final game, Brown has continued to attack Brady on social media, even recently posting a photoshopped picture with Gisele Bundchen.
Brady has just gone through a divorce with Bundchen, and Brown antagonised his former quarterback by sticking his face on a picture of the ex-couple embracing. He's also been celebrating as the Buccaneers continue to struggle offensively, stating that 'they need him out there'.
After the Buccaneers lost to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Brown tweeted directed at Brady and the franchise: "Thought y’all could find someone do what I do. I’m still Waiting sorry ahhhhh boys."
And Brown's former team-mate Vick has had enough, and spoke about the disturbing fall out on Club Shay Shay. "Yeah, that disturbed me because I know him (Brown) and Tom were on the same tune," Vick said.
"I believe in loyalty and in true friendships, and I thought they were creating a bond. He (Brady) put him in a situation where he was able to get a ring, and he turned him back on him."
Brown's controversies continue to stack up, and he was accused of causing tension at the Steelers before trading. Since then, he's continued to be at the centre of drama, even though he was given a huge opportunity to settle down by Brady.
They first teamed up at the New England Patriots in 2019, and Brady even pushed for the Buccaneers to also sign him in 2020. It's unclear whether Brown will ever return to the NFL, but it would take a brave organisation to take a chance.
