Anton Du Beke slams Strictly 'mole' and begs them to stop ruining the show for viewers

Anton Du Beke has publicly called upon the Strictly Come Dancing 'mole' to stop ruining the show for BBC viewers.

The Strictly judge appeared on Loose Women earlier today [October 18] to discuss his recent win at the National Television Awards and also give his thoughts on the recent leaks connected to the the dancing competition he appears on - slamming the unknown mole for leaking the pre-recorded exit results.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on both Saturday and Sunday each weekend throughout its run on-air, with viewers discovering which couple will be heading home during the latter's show, but everything recorded on the same day - meaning the live audience know which celebrity has danced for the final time by the end of the Saturday night.

The exit result this weekend was leaked on social media prior to the Sunday show airing, meaning Strictly fans discovered Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova were the latest couple to be sent home before even getting to watch their dance-off against Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima.

Anton Du Beke slammed the Strictly 'mole' during his appearance on Loose Women (ITV)

Speaking on Loose Women about the 'mole' today, Anton said: "It gets on my nerves. Please stop. I don’t know who you are but please stop. Don’t do it. Why would you do it? Nobody knows who it is."

He continued: "The audience, like the people who go to [Agatha Christie murder mystery play] The Mousetrap for example, which has been going for years, we’re all in it together.

"Knowledge is power and all that sort of stuff, everyone has an agreement we won’t say anything, so I don’t know who does it."

The Strictly judged urged the mole to stop during his chat with the Loose Women (ITV)

Anton concluded: "They call you a spoiler for a reason - because you’re a spoiler. Don’t do it… Try to stop spoiling it please, because people don’t want to know."

Matt had found himself at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard on Saturday night, and his performance was praised slightly, but also met with critique.

Following the public vote, Kym also found herself in the bottom two alongside Matt and was forced to dance again with her pro partner Graziano, while Matt and dance partner Nadiya had to do the same before the judges decided the singer's time on Strictly had come to an end.

Matt broke down in tears as he exited the BBC show on Sunday (BBC)

Although Matt's exit only aired on Sunday night [October 16], many fans already knew his fate hours before, thanks to an anonymous Twitter account leaking the results.

They also revealed which other couple would feature in the dreaded dance-off, which was also set to take place during the results show.

*Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and ITVHub
