Police are appealing for help to find four individuals following reports of antisocial behaviour and drug offences. Officers in Salford are keen to speak to four young people pictured in balaclavas relating to these matters.
They were last seen in the area by a community support officer on August 20. Salford GMP quipped that balaclavas can be used to conduct criminal activity and not always ‘a fashion statement’.
The post was shared by Greater Manchester Police on social media as part of an appeal, it said: “Salford Neighbourhood Teams are looking for your help.

“Although balaclavas are often used as a fashion statement, they are also used to conduct and carry out crime. On August 20, 2022 local PCSO to Blackfriars Road, Salford was able to speak with the four young males pictured.
“We are looking to speak with these young individuals relating to local antisocial behaviour and drug related offences being conducted in the area. Greater Manchester Police will continue to deliver robust work in your area to keep you safe.
“Please report crime to us and assist us in the meantime. We will hear your thoughts and will act on information you provide to us which can be done anonymously by reporting it to Crime Stoppers. Reports can also be made on our website.
“Of course the usual channels to the police still apply should you wish to report anything directly to us. 101 Non Emergency but if you're in any danger 999 it is.”
