(Picture: AP)Anti-vax Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is being called out for owning stock in three vaccine companies.
The right-wing official officially declared income from shares in AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson, as reported by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
In the United States, both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson manufacture two of the three main vaccines that have been rolled out across the country.
According to financial disclosure forms submitted on August 13, Greene made between $201 and $1,000 from each of the three companies.
Greene’s shares have since caused controversy.
Her Republican primary opponent, Jennifer Strahan, posted a Twitter poll that read: “With all of the theatrics going on in Washington, I thought we could have some fun and do a poll question. I will release the results on Friday!”

In a follow-up tweet, Strahan wrote: “For those of you wondering, the correct answer is D! Our current representative rails against the vaccine, but owns stock in 3 of the 4 major vaccine manufacturers.”

According to her disclosure, Greene’s assets in AstraZeneca are valued between $1,001-$15,000, while her assets in Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson are each valued between $15,001-$50,000.
Nick Dyer, Greene's spokesperson, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Greene has been more than vocal about her criticism of vaccine mandates since the pandemic began. She also shared that she herself is not vaccinated.
“I’m not vaccinated. And they’re going to have a hell of a time if they want to hold me down and give me a vaccine,” she said over the weekend at the “Americafest” conference staged by far-right organising group Turning Point USA.
