An "antisocial" family left a house in a street where 22-year-old Sam Rimmer was shot dead after Merseyside Police applied for a closure order.
Mr Rimmer was in Lavrock Bank, Dingle, on August 16 when a group of four men on two electric bikes opened fire, striking him in the chest. There has been a number of arrests but so far no-one has been charged with his murder.
However last week a family living in the street left before Liverpool Magistrates Court granted a full closure order under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. The order, sought by Merseyside Police, means the former tenants Lisa McPartland, 49, and her two sons Lewis and Christopher McParland cannot enter the building for three months.

However Merseyside Police confirmed the tenants decided to give up their tenancy on November 1, meaning they will not return when the order expires in February. A police spokeswoman said the order was sought due to "drug-dealing", violence and incidents of anti-social behaviour allegedly linked to the address.
A member of the McPartland family told the ECHO they deny engaging in anti-social or criminal behaviour.
Community Policing Inspector David Uren said: “I hope the local community will feel reassured that our officers and Plus Dane Housing have taken action to tackle the anti-social behaviour and criminality that has been caused from this address. Whenever we receive reports of antisocial behaviour we will do everything within our powers to work with partners including our local authorities and housing associations to take action and where necessary apply for closure orders
“We understand the crimes that such behaviour leads to and we’ll continue to work closely with residents and our partners to deal with such problems. If you experience any offences in our communities please come forward and speak to us when these issues affect you, for all of our benefit.”
The death of Mr Rimmer marked the first murder in a horrific six days of gun violence which also saw Ashley Dale, 28, and Olivia Pratt-Korbel, nine, shot dead in separate incidents.
It is still unclear whether Mr Rimmer was the intended target of the gunmen, or whether he was caught in the crossfire in an attempt to shoot his associates.
So far three males, aged between 17 and 23, have been arrested in connection with Mr Rimmer's murder and are on conditional bail as investigations continue. No-one has yet been charged.
Detectives have since announced they believe they have traced the suspects from the scene at Lavrock Bank, at 11.36pm, through to Hunts Cross Avenue near to the junction of Whitney Place in Woolton, where the last sighting took place at 12:04am.
