Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui has delivered his initial verdict after Manchester United loanee Anthony Martial was forced off inside half an hour on Sunday.
Just days after opening his account for Los Rojiblancos, there has been a worrying development in the Frenchman's loan spell in La Liga.
Martial required lengthy treatment after going down holding his left leg with reports from Spain suggesting a hamstring issue in what was his fourth game since completing his temporary move.
Lopetegui said: "We're going to analyse the injury, but we can't complain. We're in the middle of the competition and we have to think about the next thing.
"We have to test him and we're going to wait a bit to have knowledge of the extent of the injury."
It brings a premature end to a good run of minutes for Martial after a stuttering debut against Osasuna.
Since then, he has enjoyed a prominent role in Sevilla's good run of form, picking up an assist in the win over Elche before firing in a third against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday.
Whilst Lopetegui awaits the results of the scan, it looks unlikely Martial will be fit for the return leg of the Europa League tie in Croatia.
