Anthony Joshua vs Joe Joyce sparring footage leaked after social media row

Anthony Joshua has been shown dominating British rival Joe Joyce in sparring after footage was leaked online.

Joshua is currently awaiting news on his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk which is expected to be delayed with the Ukrainian battling against Vladimir Putin's Russian invasion. Joyce has put himself forward as a potential opponent as 'AJ' considers taking an interim fight to keep active amid the potential delay.

Leaked footage of the pair has now shown Joshua and Joyce sparring with the two-time heavyweight champion clearly dominant. Joshua starts the session on top on the left firing away some heavy shots with Joyce swinging and missing with a left hook.

Joshua continues to dominate next with Joyce failing to land anything of note as Joshua ducks and weaves underneath the Juggernaut's attacks as he begins to march forward. Joyce continues to try and unload some heavier hooks at Joshua who continues to duck and remain evasive.

The final exchanges continue to show a similar theme with Joshua clearly getting the best of the spar from the footage displayed, showing a superior level of speed and accuracy. Joshua lands some neat combinations towards the end of the montage with Joyce landing a couple of short hooks to the body.

Joshua laughed off claims that he would "duck" a clash against his fellow Olympian and claims to have stopped the star within minutes during their amateur careers.

He posted on Twitter after being called out by Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin : "Lol ok… I’ve shared this ring with most people you see in the heavyweight division today! I boxed Otto Wallin twice as youngsters and I boxed Joe and stopped him in one round. I’d do the same thing today! Ain’t nothing changed."

Joyce quickly hit back in an angry tweet which criticised his recent outburst, saying: "You're having a meltdown, where’s all your belts? All those sponsorships and endorsements helping? You’re a glass cannon, quit the act, you were given everything #easymode." Joshua had his final say: "By the way, I told you five days ago let’s get it on my yout! Check your Twitter. You ducked it."

The British heavyweight contender had previously challenged Joshua to a showdown during a tweet that dated back to March 9 which mirrored the words of his promoter Frank Warren who had also proposed a clash.

Warren previously stated he would be willing to work with Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn to stage the clash. "I think the public would definitely buy into AJ-Joe Joyce," Warren told iFL TV. "We’d make that in a heartbeat.

"Joe would fight him in a heartbeat - what a great domestic bust-up that is, let’s get our heads together and we’ll get that done."
