Anthony Joshua slammed as 'embarrassing' after £15m Tyson Fury update

Boxing fans have given their reaction following reports that Anthony Joshua is ready to accept a £15million offer to step aside from his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk so that Tyson Fury can face the Ukranian in a unification fight.

Joshua 's rematch with Usyk has been scheduled since October, after he lost his three heavyweight belts the month prior.

Fury had been mandated to defend his WBC heavyweight title against Dillian Whyte, however, an agreement regarding purse splits has been unable to be agreed and purse bids have been delayed again.

The situation is now reportedly close to being resolved, with the Telegraph reporting that Joshua is ready to step aside in a £15m agreement.

This would leave Joshua without a fight, whilst choosing not to avenge his loss to Usyk so that he can fight with Fury on the big stage - a place where AJ himself is looking to get to.

And while many see it as a smart business decision, it seems that fans are unhappy with his decision to choose money over ambition.

Joshua's future now remains unclear, should he officially accept the offer.

However, there are a number of fighters who he could face this Spring, before potentially meeting the winner of Fury and Usyk.
