Anthony Joshua denies Dillian Whyte rematch talks in bizarre X-rated rant

Anthony Joshua launched an expletive-fuelled rant to deny reports that he is fighting Dillian Whyte in August.

Joshua, 34, has been linked to a rematch against domestic rival Whyte before a potential fight against Deontay Wilder in December, but the former two-time heavyweight champion has insisted he knows nothing about the former. 'AJ' denied the reports by quoting an iconic lyric from Stormzy's 'WickedSkengMan Part 4' song.

"I don't know about any talks to fight Dillian Whyte. Everyday. AJ this, AJ that, AJ's hairline going way back but I'll still f*** your girl go retweet that." Joshua then posted a picture of him alongside Stormzy with a caption that read: "AJ's this, AJ's that. AJ says: 'F*** off." The posts weren't up for long as Joshua deleted both of them, but they caught the attention of Whyte who then issued a response to his rival.

"How’s about you stop being a b**** and let’s make the fight you f****ng weird guy always talking s*** tweeting stuff then deleting be a man you little b****," Whyte tweeted in response to Joshua's deleted posts. 'The Bodysnatcher' then called out Joshua for a rematch in an Instagram video, stating: "Let's f****ng have it, let's have it you c***."

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn recently confirmed plans for 'AJ' to fight on August 12 with Whyte being the frontrunner opponent. “AJ wants to fight in August. We’ve got offers being presented to him. He’s going to want probably more money than the offer will be, and then we go from there," Hearn told iFL TV.

'AJ' picked up his first win in over two years by beating Jermaine Franklin in April, although his performance didn't go down well with fans. Joshua was beaten by Whyte when the pair fought over a decade ago as amateurs, but he avenged the loss in their professional rematch in 2015.

Hearn added of the potential rematch between the pair: "The Dillian Whyte fight is a very dangerous fight for AJ, it’s very ballsy fight to go into when you’ve got that payday against Deontay Wilder in December, but that’s his preferred fight now. That fight’s got to get done, but that is his preferred opponent for August."
