Frank Lampard has denied that a bid of up to £60m has come in from Chelsea for Anthony Gordon.
The Everton winger has been the subject of much speculation over recent weeks and months as multiple sides have been rumoured to be interested in him over the transfer window. Many outlets currently have Thomas Tuchel's side leading the race, also Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have also been linked in the past.
Over recent days, talk has centred around a new bid which was reportedly made by Chelsea to try and tempt the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge. However, Lampard reiterated a bold stance from Everton in the face of any interest for Gordon, and denied that a £60m offer had been tabled.

He told his pre-Brentford press conference: "No it [a bid] hasn't come in. He's our player, he remains so, he's in the squad for tomorrow. He's a huge player for us.
"I said it last week, not only is he a big value for the club if you want to talk financially - but more importantly a big value to the squad and the team.
"They haven't bid £60m, let's not talk about a number that's not there! No [can't put a figure on his value]. I've been fortunate enough to work with fantastic young players, see them develop into England internationals and Champions League winners worth triple figures in terms of some of their personal values.
"Anthony's in that bracket, he's a pleasure to work with and he's ours. He's an Everton boy, he plays for us, the crowd relate to in. It's understandable that people would be interested because of the level of player he is, but the facts remain the same.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Dele Alli completed a loan move away from Everton just a few months after joining the club on transfer deadline day in January. The midfielder will spend the rest of the 2022/23 campaign with Besiktas.
Lampard believes this will be a good opportunity for a player who just couldn't make things work during his time with the Blues so far.
"I think it's the right thing, it hasn't worked out for Dele here for different reasons," the Blues boss added. "He can go there and now hopefully play games, have success, help him personally and help us.
"We'll review through the year and at the end of the season. That's what the deal is, we'll see how it goes."
