Frank Lampard wants Anthony Gordon’s future decided quickly as Chelsea continue to chase the Everton forward.

While the Merseyside club are understood to be reluctant to lose their academy graduate, Thomas Tuchel has identified the 21-year-old as a key target.

Chelsea are said to be willing to pay up to £60m for Gordon after previously having seen two bids rejected.

Though Everton are in a strong position to negotiate, there is a feeling the club could sell should the right offer emerge as they attempt to bolster their own frontline.

Gordon is keen to move to Stamford Bridge and is said to have told Lampard of his wish to leave.

With just over a week left in the window, Lampard wants the situation resolved quickly after a difficult start to the season for the Everton boss.

Speaking after Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup win over Fleetwood, Lampard said: “He’s our player, everyone knows of Chelsea’s interest, we have a good relationship, ideally (a quick resolution to the situation) or we carry on and he’s our player.”
