Anthony Gordon sends message to Everton fans after win over Chelsea

Anthony Gordon has sent a message to Everton fans after the win over Chelsea.

The Blues beat the reigning European and World champions 1-0 at a raucous Goodison Park on Sunday. Richarlison’s early strike in the second half was enough to earn Frank Lampard's side a huge three points.

Everton now have five league matches left to avoid relegation to the Championship. They are currently two points adrift of safety with a game in hand on Leeds United and Burnley.

Before the victory over Chelsea, thousands of Blues supporters lined the streets outside Goodison to welcome the team bus. And during the match, the home faithful were in full voice and played a big role in helping their side get over the line.

And winger Gordon, who once again impressed, took to Instagram afterwards.

“Big game, big result,” wrote the 21-year-old.

“Goodison, that was a day we will never forget.”
