Anthony Edwards has developed into one of the best players in the NBA and is regarded as one of it’s most elite scorers. The young Timberwolves star has no doubt in his own abilities to boot, and recently had some choice words for one of the game’s biggest names.
While talking to Complex, Edwards was asked who he most wants to “cook” on the court and he said he always tries to show out against LeBron James, but he’s robbed of the opportunity because the Lakers always double team him.
“I always try to cook LeBron because he’s the best player in the league right now,” Edwards said.

When asked what would happen if James guarded him one-on-one for a game, Edwards made a bold claim.
“That’s a be a fun day,” Edwards said. “That’ll be a great day.”
The 22-year-old backtracked a bit when asked what his stat line would be if James guarded him with no help, though. It’s likely we’ll never see the scenario since Los Angeles would never leave the 38–year-old out there on an island with Edwards for an entire game. But we can dream.
