Over the last decade or so, LeBron James has been climbing the list of the greatest NBA players of all time. These days, many people believe he is one of the five best to ever touch a basketball, and an increasing number of people believe he’s either the greatest of all time or the second greatest.
But there are a decent number of holdouts who feel the Los Angeles Lakers superstar doesn’t rank that high in the annals of league history, at least not yet.
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was asked for his list of the top five players in NBA history, and he left James off his ranking. However, he included Lakers greats Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal (h/t Lakers Daily).

“M.J. (Michael Jordan), Kobe, Shaq — that’s three — Allen Iverson and, of course, K.D. (Kevin Durant) for me,” Edwards said.
Perhaps the big reason people such as Edwards don’t have James in their top five is the fact that James is only 4-6 in the NBA Finals. It’s a record he will have to improve in order to strengthen his argument as possibly the greatest of all time.
