The Los Angeles Lakers have turned things around after starting 2-10 by winning six of their last eight games.
But they’re about to be tested, as they’re about to begin a six-game Eastern road trip that will begin on Friday with a showdown versus Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The trip also includes games versus the young and talented Cleveland Cavaliers, the competitive Toronto Raptors and Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers.
Even the Washington Wizards, who L.A. will face on Sunday, have been rather competitive this season.
Anthony Davis says the Lakers have a goal to win more than half of the games on this trip.
Anthony Davis says the Lakers’ goal for their six-game road trip is to go “above .500.”

For clarity: Davis was saying go “above .500” on the trip as in go at least 4-2.

Doing so would further reinforce the feeling that the Lakers are on the mend and possibly, at the very least, a decent basketball team.
Things won’t get easier right after the trip, as they will host the Boston Celtics, who hold the NBA’s best record, on Dec. 13, followed by a home contest against the 14-7 Denver Nuggets three days later.
