The 2023 NBA draft lottery is officially over, as it confirmed the Oklahoma City Thunder will pick No. 12 in the first round of the draft.
It’s also draft combine week, which means all of the top prospects are gathered in Chicago, Ill. This means that most players will likely be asked who they’ve worked out and met with so far.
One of the more notable prospects who’ve confirmed they will meet with the Thunder is Arkansas guard Anthony Black, per The Athletic’s Josh Robbins. Black said he plans on meeting with the Thunder on Friday, May 19.
The 19-year-old averaged 12.8 points on 45.3% shooting, 5.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 36 games during his lone college season. He also shot 30.1% from 3 on 2.6 attempts.
Black is projected to go in the lottery and most likely before the Thunder’s No. 12 pick. This means if OKC wants to acquire Black, they will likely need to trade up into the top 10 of the draft.
The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled to happen on Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
