Anthea Turner has opened up about the plastic surgery procedures she has had over the years – opening up about having a boob job and sharing her love for Botox.
The 61-year-old television presenter sat down for a catch up with Lorraine Kelly on her Lorraine show on Tuesday where the ladies discussed growing old in the spotlight together.
Lorraine – also 61 – and Anthea worked together decades ago when they were both hosts on GMTV in the 1990s, with Lorraine saying that her blonde co-star has barely changed in the almost 30 years they’ve worked together.
However, the reason Anthea still looks fresh faced and youthful might be more down to the fact that she has gone under the knife to maintain her appearance.

Opening up about what work she has had done over the years, Anthea said: “I had the boobies done. And I swear by Botox.”
Lorraine herself also opened up about Botox – saying she would never do it herself as she thinks it would freeze her expressions.
The star said: “I’m frightened of Botox. Does it not mean that you’re not able to move your face?”
However, Anthea highlighted that she is able to make expressions herself, despite her love for the injections – but admits people might not realise when she is angry.

She said: “I can still frown” – while demonstrating as she focused her face into a mild look of disappointment.
Anthea went on: “I haven’t looked really angry since I was 40. And, my goodness me, you know I have been angry.”
She continued: “I can still laugh. All of these things that you can have – whether it’s a little bit of filler, a little bit of Botox, something called Profhilo, which I think is really good.”
Anthea swiftly added: “I’m not paid by any of them.”

But she warned: “They are only as good as whoever’s hand has got that syringe in it. And you don’t want that look.”
Lorraine interjected: “Where they look like they’ve been caught in a wind tunnel. No. I can’t be doing with that.”
Anthea famously had her face severely burned in an accident in 1988 while she was reporting live from a Royal Tournament event for a show called UP2U.
The star was sitting on the back of a truck while a motorbike revved inside behind a black material cover.
The driver revved the vehicle and sped out of the back of the truck, tearing through the material while Anthea was due to stay sitting at the edge of the truck while the report continued.
However, the material burst into fire, engulfing Anthea in flames – with the TV presenter suffering burns to her face and temporary hair loss.
Reflecting on the accident to The Guardian in 2014, Anthea said: “I’ve got really thick, pronounced eyebrows. I had an accident when I was 29 and my eyebrows burned off.
“That's when I realised how important they were to my face. I looked so strange without them. They took nine weeks to grow back.”
