There won’t be much controversy over these choices. The league announced its All-Tournament Team for the 2024 NBA Cup on Thursday, as voted by 20 media members. There were no major surprises.
NBA Cup MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the list of names, followed by his Milwaukee Bucks teammate, Damian Lillard. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also the made the cut, along with Trae Young and Alperen Şengün. All five players were on teams that made at least the semifinals.
Antetokounmpo and Gilgeous-Alexander were the only unanimous selections, receiving all 20 votes. Lillard received 19.

Antetokounmpo averaged 30.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 2.8 blocks per game in seven NBA Cup games. He had 26 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and three blocks in the final to also take home the NBA Cup MVP award.
This is the Bucks superstar’s second selection to the All-Tournament team after also making it to the inaugural team announced last year. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and Tyrese Haliburton were the other selections last season, with James earning MVP.
Houston Rockets center Şengün made a name for himself at the tournament, averaging 19.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.0 steals during Cup games.
Young provided one of the most memorable moments of the tournament, stitching together an impressive 22-point, 11-assist, five-rebound performance as his Atlanta Hawks upset the New York Knicks, 108-100, in the quarterfinals. Dribbling out the clock at the end of the game, Young mocked Knicks fans by pretending to roll dice on the floor.
