Britain’s Got Talent host Ant McPartlin has sustained an injury to the head while filming upcoming scenes of the ITV talent show.
The TV star was left with his forehead cracked open after headbutting a coconut during filming.
The 46-year-old was bandaged up by a medic while standing beside his giggling pal Declan Donnelly at the show's auditions.
But the small wound wasn't serious and Ant only realised he was bleeding when Dec pointed it out to him.
When one act involved numerous coconuts on stage, Ant came up with the gag of trying to crack one using different parts of his body.
He first punched it, which left him grimacing and shaking his fist, saying: “Do not punch coconuts kids, it really hurts. I think I nearly broke my knuckle.”
Ant then tapped the coconut against his forehead, gritting his teeth as he said to someone out of shot: “Why did you say forehead? Because I was bound to try…”
Seconds later, Dec told him: "You've cut your head on a coconut.”
Ant then pointed behind the camera and feigned outrage as he said: "How irresponsible are you?"
A medic teased the injured Geordie star as he told him he would need to change his dressing every day for three weeks.
Ant laughed: "This is very extreme for a little tap on the forehead."
Failing to learn his lesson, Ant was soon back out on stage unsuccessfully striking more coconuts.
Ant and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett were spotted taking their pet dogs out for a walk in London earlier today.
The 46-year-old Britain’s Got Talent host and his 43-year-old wife sported near-matching his n hers black baseball caps as they took their pooches out for a stroll in London on Wednesday.
Ant looked ready for summer – and winter – as he sported a pair of black shorts, simple slip-on Vans, and a long-sleeved, thick-cotton grey jumper that also had flags from around the world on it.
While Anne-Marie was all wrapped up in loose-fitting clothes that completely covered her up – with a thick, quilted jacket concealing her.
The couple tied-the-knot last August in front of family, friends and celebrities at a lavish ceremony at St Michael's Church in Heckfield, Hampshire.
Ant previously credited his now-wife for turning his life around following his shameful drink-driving incident which saw him smash his car and hospitalise a young girl.
