Alison Hammond jumped out of her skin on Friday's This Morning as Ant and Dec gatecrashed the studio to make an big announcement about Saturday Night Takeaway.
There was anger and disappointment last weekend when ITV cancelled Takeaway to make way for live coverage of the Six Nations rugby. And, while Channel 5 played a blinder by showing a 'best of' Ant and Dec special in the same time slot, fans hit out at ITV's decision, which came on the same weekend that the Dancing on Ice final was delayed for FA Cup football.
After a week's hiatus, Ant and Dec have got big plans for Saturday Night Takeaway's return this week and revealed them in surprising style when they gatecrashed This Morning, leaving hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond in shock, particularly Alison who was startled by their sudden appearance as confetti cannons were fired.

Alison jumped out of her seat as Ant and Dec, dressed in sequined jackets, burst through the doors just as they were teasing what was coming up on Monday's show. She clung onto Dermot as he joked to the lads: "You're not here, you're next door!"
As Alison struggled to regain composure, Ant told them: "We're back on tomorrow night. Are your dreams coming true?!" Dec revealed that he and Ant were on their way to film something for Takeaway but wanted to remind everyone that Takeaway was back after a week's break.
The lads then let slip the exciting news that they will be joined by Michael Buble for the End of the Show Show and Line of Duty and Motherland star Anna Maxwell-Martin will be the latest Star Guest Announcer. As Ant and Dec made their exit after a fleeting appearance, Alison remarked: "I didn't expect that."
