There's nothing I'm A Celebrity presenters Ant and Dec like more than a cheeky dig. The hosts of the popular ITV show, which is currently taking place in South Africa, are famous for their opening monologues and aren't afraid to take a light-hearted swipe at the contestants in camp.
However, it seems Wales is the latest butt of the joke with the hosts mocking Welsh weather in an Instagram post. I'm A Celebrity took place in Wales in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The stint at the stunning Gwyrch Castle in Abergele was a huge success, with Giovanna Fletcher being crowned the first Queen of the Castle and soap star Danny Miller crowned the first King of the Castle a year later. However, it wasn't without its drama as the campmates were evacuated at one point and the show cancelled for the first time in 19 years due to damage from Storm Arwen.

Remembering the colder weather in the county of Conwy in November as they struggled with the heat at the South African camp, Ant teased: "This was never a problem in Wales," followed by emojis of a crying laughing face and the sun.
In a short clip Ant then showed Dec struggling in the heat, sitting in the sun with his cue cards, Ant said: "Have a guess who likes the sun and who doesn't like the sun," tilting his face towards the sunshine, he added: "Give me the rays, baby."
The camera then panned to Dec shuffling his chair further into the shade as he said: "Got a bit of sun on my arm... I'm Irish and pale that's why I'm sat in the corner."
"It's wonderful," Ant said. "I'm in jeans and I'm sweating, I regret this you know." The new series of I'm A Celebrity kicked off on Monday, April 24 in South Africa.
The new setting is to coincide with the all-star series that sees campmates from series gone by return in a bid to become the first I'm A Celebrity Legend. The stars taking part include Gillian McKeith, Myleene Klass, Andy Whyment, and Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo. As well as Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo, Helen Flanagan, Carol Vorderman, Fatima Whitbread, Paul Burrell, Phil Tufnell, Janice Dickinson, and Shaun Ryder.
