Ant and Dec confirm ITV I'm A Celebrity feature scrapped in shake-up

I'm A Celebrity viewers were shocked last night when Ant and Dec revealed the 'Dingo Dollar Challenge' had been scrapped.

A new batch of 10 celebrities have entered the Australian jungle for the first time since 2019, as the past two years were shot at Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

But following the return to Australia, there have been some changes to the show - including the Dingo Dollar Challenge. Ant and Dec revealed the trial had changed its name to 'Deals on Wheels' and no longer featured a kiosk.

Instead, Kiosk Kev was seen riding a tuck shop on wheels. The change didn't go down well with some viewers, who asked for the return of Dingo Dollar.

Flora tweeted: "I don’t like deals on wheels bring back dingo dollar challenge." Hef said: "Bring back the dingo dollar challenge."

Harry said: "The public after finding out Dingo Dollar challenge has been changed to Deals on Wheels." Keira said: "Deals on wheels just doesn't have the same ring to it as the dingo dollar challenge."

And Holly added: "Deals on Wheels? No it’s the dingo dollar challenge."

Elsewhere, Love Island star Olivia Attwood withdrew from the show on medical grounds, after just one day. ITV said the 31-year-old former reality show contestant has been told by the programme's medical team it is not safe for her to return to camp.

Announcing Olivia's departure earlier on Monday, a spokesman for ITV said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks. Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation.

"She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."
