I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here is returning to its natural home in Australia this year. The news was confirmed by the show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on This Morning earlier today. (Thursday May 26)
For the last two series the hit reality show has been filmed at Gwrych Castle in Abergele North Wales. That has been down to the ever changing Coronavirus lockdown and travel rules in the UK and down under.
The pair were on This Morning to discuss the launch of their new book Propa Happy. However talk quickly moved to the new series of I'm A Celebrity after Emmerdale star Danny Miller walked away with the crown last year.

Dec opened up about the location of the 2022 series of the show. He said: “If they let us in the country, we’ll be back in.”
He added: “We had two lovely years in Wales, we really enjoyed our time in Wales, but this show has to be in Australia. We have to go back.”
The cheeky Geordie pair have hosted the show since its launch back in 2002. That is with the exception of Ant missing the 2018 series when he was replaced by This Morning host Holly Willoughby for one series only.
In the interview the pair also hinted at the rumoured new version of the show called all-stars. It is rumoured that the spin-off series will feature some of the nations favourite campmates from years gone by.
Ant said: “I don’t know why it’s never been done before. But it’s a spin-off from the main show where we’ve got ex-camp mates who all come together in South Africa, competing in challenges and trials.”
Once he revealed that Ant asked “should I keep talking?” To which Dec stepped in and stopped his co-presenter from continuing.
He said: “I don’t think you should, I think this is a secret.” In response Ant said: “It’s going to be great.”
Dec quickly stepped again and said: “Just stop talking! Oh he’s gone again, he’s still talking! It’s a secret!”
The pair eventually stopped revealing any more of the show's top secrets. I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! will air on ITV later this year.
