Ant and Dec caught up in viral Love Island plea as four contestants face axe

Ant and Dec have been caught up in a viral Love Island plea as four contestants face the axe in a tense cliff-hanger from Tuesday's show.

The ITV show's presenter Laura Whitmore crashed the party as the Islanders headed out to a beach club to enjoy drinks and a DJ set from Joel Corry. The couples were completely oblivious that she'd be making an appearance although, if they've seen previous series, they should have known that the Beach Club trips always result in drama with Joanna giving Michael the cold shoulder after she was voted out in 2019 and Georgia and Sam being faced with a huge dilemma over their future on the show.

And now it's Dami and Billy and Danica and Summer who whose Love Island fate hangs in the balance after the latest viewer vote saw them finish bottom. As credits rolled on Tuesday night's show, all four were left hanging on presenter Laura's word, with their fellow Islanders having the deciding vote. And some fans of the show want there to be a brutal conclusion, with all four going home.

One fan upped the ante by using Ant and Dec in scenes from Saturday Night Takeaway as their inspiration. Pictures of the lads in action in I'm A Celebrity Get Out of My Ear formed the focus of the post, with the Geordie hosts famous for making stars carry out some outrageous requests by giving them instructions through an earpiece.

Next to their photos was the caption :"Now dump all 4." By Wednesday morning, the meme had been shared well over 300 times, with thousands of comments,. And many share the creator's view that a mass cull would make for much better viewing. One responded: "Way too predictable sick of the same crowd all series......dump all four or at least allow the publics vote to matter."

Another commented: "Love Island haven't the balls for that !! Down to the Islanders again who goes," with a third reacting: "YES DUMP ALL4! GIVE US A REAL CLIFF HANGER SHOCK!"
